Drawings

The models in these drawings are suspended in a random grid of slings resulting in dramatic poses with foreshortening, perspective and gravitational challenges. The poses are short so I try to capture the essence of the moment. I respond to the interaction between the figure and surrounding space, working in charcoal allows for a nebulous approach where apparent edges are not always defined.
